The 3 days 2 nights tour from marrakech to zagora including camel trekking
Day 1: MARRAKECH – AIT BENHADDOU KASBAH – OUARZAZATE
After breakfast, we will start our 3 Days tours from Marrakech to Zagora desert trip by driving to Ouarzazate through the famous Tizi Ntichka pass (2260m), over the High Atlas Mountains; we will appreciate the beauty of the landscapes on the twisted road through the Berber villages. We’ll get to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, where stands the famous Kasbah, built at 19th century by the last Berber chief El Glaoui Ethami.
The Kasbah is recognized as a UNESCO matrimonial historical site, now a house of many Glaoui family members. Lunch will in the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Then we continue to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”, where you have the option to visit many props used in movies you may already have seen such as Gladiator, Kondon and Alexander the Great, The Mummy, Asterix Obelix. The night accommodation will be in a hotel in Ouarzazate
Day 2: OUARZAZATE – ZAGORA – ENNAKHKLA DUNES
Today, departure from Ouarzazate to Zagora through Dara valley, we will visit Kasbahs and the oasis. The lunch will be at a local restaurant in Zagora. Afternoon, we’ll head southwards to the Tamegrout village. We visit the Islamic-book shop, the oldest in the area, which served as a school and the source of Islamic education in the region. Our visit continues to the hand-made pottery works where you will see men baking the clay to make different pots and kitchen dishes. After, we will return to the hotel to go to the Ennakhla dunes by camels to spend night in Berber tent in the bivouac (sunset on the dunes)
Day 3: ZAGORA – DRAA VALLEY – MARRAKECH
After the return from the dunes, you will return back to Marrakech. The lunch will be in a restaurant in Tizi Ntichka pass. Then we continue to Marrakech
